Smooth Jaw Parallel Pliers

Our most essential of parallel pliers. The mainstay of jewellery artisans for almost as long they have been in production. The all-day, everyday, multi-function plier. Capable of almost everything that a jeweller needs a plier to do.

Smooth flat jaws offer a non-marring surface. Perfect for holding and manipulating soft, precious metals. A fine, flat-tipped nose. Fantastic visibility, even when handling small pieces.

Plastic Jaw Parallel Pliers

To help preserve intricate detail and the surface finish of a piece, our plastic-based jaw solutions are available. These materials absorb some of the force a jeweller may apply through the plier.

Soft Jaws – Our softest medium. These polyurethane jaws allow for significant compression and offer excellent grip.

Nylon Jaws – A relatively hard plastic. This provides a firmer grip and compresses much less than a polyurethane jaw.

V Notch Flat Nose Parallel Pliers

Conceived with the School of Jewellery, these parallel-action pliers feature nine ‘V’ cutouts across the length of one jaw with varying depths. The combination of ‘V’ and flat jaw provides a perfectly secure grip on three sides for wire from 0.4 mm to 6.0 mm in diameter.

The large square notch formed from two opposing ‘V’s enables larger D-shaped wire up to 8.0 mm to be safely and securely gripped.

Curved Jaw Parallel Pliers

Flat surfaces and square corners are common in jewellery tooling. They can present the risk of uneven shapes and sharp indents. Rounded jaws help the artisan create smooth, consistent curves. Shaping directly to the radius of the jaw or greater.

Our round and curved jaw pliers complement the shaping process. They give the craftsperson the confidence to work at pace, without loss of precision. Reducing the amount of finishing or corrective processing that may be required.

Round Jaw Parallel Pliers

Round jaws pliers are exceptionally useful when working in detail. Their smooth surfaces minimise marring. Their conical shapes perfect for forming extremely tight curves. Beyond the more obvious applications, the capabilities of round, or round and flat, jaws pliers are extensive.

Available as a pair of round jaws, or singly in conjunction with a flat jaw. Adding daylights or affixing claws to settings. Polishing or detailing rings. These pliers help to achieve perfect, outstanding finishes.

Compound-Lever-Action Cutting Pliers

Our compound-lever-action cutting pliers are designed to cut the hardest of wires. Perfect for horologists working with hard materials like brass. But equally comfortable cutting the softer, precious wire found in jewellery.

Compound action takes the normal force enhancement of pliers and multiplies it. Reducing the effort needed to cut. Causing less strain in highly repetitive cutting
tasks.
